Any amount helps us achieve our goals

Once there were 1131 Veda shākhās, now only 11 survive, some of which are endangered. There’s a great dearth of scholars who are well trained in all 6 Vedāngas, which is a pre-condition to become an expert in the Vaidika studies. It is our hope to close this gap, even if our numbers are small.

In a time when Hinduphobia is rampant, ritualism is derided as unnecessary or even evil, maligned as against the very basic tenets of dharma, we’re preserving and propagating the core of all Dharmika ritualism, the Shrauta and Grhya rituals, more so of the dying or practically dead veda shakha-s. It is unfortunate that we are the only one doing so in the land of Shri Rāma and Shri Krishna, where Vaidika studies developed and flourished, the region which has been praised in the Veda itself and compared with the divine altar of Shrauta Yajnas.

Our vision is to sculpt such scholars who are adept at shastra but also know not only know how to navigate, but guide the general society too, out of the challenges being thrown by current times.

We aim to revive the vaidika traditions, multi-millennial continuum of which had been interrupted by relatively recent adverse periods. We will revive the paused traditions of the vaidika people by researching and restarting the practices of vaidika shakha-s as philosophical - intellectual – ritualistic - social whole.

We have deliberately avoided getting any financial support from the government, we are keeping our faith in general dharmanishtha and goodness of the Hindu Samāja. We have come this far and sustained ourselves only via thousands of voluntary contributions, almost all of small amounts.

Veda, Deva, Desha and Gau, these can be seen as four pillars of dharma. As with the decline of veda, vaidika studies and their upholders, there’s an obvious decline in the well-being and numbers of pure breed desi cows. It is impossible to rebuild the broken Vaidika society without the blessings of Gomata, without keeping her happy and satiated.

We plan to build and maintain a good numbered herd of various desi breed cows. Currently we have 8 cows, 5 calves and 2 heifers. All gifted by people who believe in the cause. We keep them in a happy and natural environment, our cows roam freely all day (except when being fed), they’re always kept away from any kind of ill practices prevalent in the commercial dairy industry.

Your donations to Vaidika Bharata allow us to fulfill our mission through our various projects including Veda Pathshālā, Gaushālā, conducting Vakyārtha Sabhās among others.
